If you are a ‘crafty’ person who enjoys making things, has a creative skill that you’d like to share with others or just enjoys sorting and arranging resources and materials then we’d love to hear from you!

We need volunteers who can help make a range of quality craft items to sell in our community shop and/or help run craft workshops. You don't need to have amazing skills as we all support each other but ideally we would like people with skills in the following areas:

  • Sewing
  • Dressmaking
  • Patchwork or Quilting
  • Crochet
  • Flower arranging
  • Needle felting
  • Art

Tasks include:

  • Making samples
  • Making a range of craft items to sell
  • Preparing materials for in-house workshops
  • Setting up and clearing away workshop resources
  • Supporting (or delivering) a workshop

This role would be ideal for someone who wants to gain experience in selling their own products or would like to know more about running a craft workshop in their local community.  Our experienced staff will guide and support you to gain the skills you need.
