Contract Type:
Volunteer
Hours:
At least one evening a month
Location:

Details of Role:

Team Communicate is a pilot programme run by Bristol Natural History Consortium, the charity who runs Festival of Nature. The programme brings together different parts of our current volunteer programme, and invites 12 people to take a leadership role with our Festival of Nature volunteer team. Our regular Festival volunteering programme will still be available, with over 200 volunteer opportunities in spring and summer 2018 to get involved.

Team Communicate invites 12 people to make a bigger commitment than our usual 1 day volunteer slots. In return, participants will receive meaningful training in skills that are vital to working within the environmental sector, along with networking opportunities to some of the best known national and regional environmental organisations.

As a minimum, we are looking for people who can commit to one evening a month throughout 2018 where you will receive training and help shape Bristol Natural History Consortium’s 2018 programme by contributing your existing skills and the skills you learn through the training we will provide. In return, we’ll ask you to take on a minimum of 20 hours of skilled volunteering during Festival of Nature 2018.
