As part of our conflict resolution service, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and confident person with enthusiasm and energy to join our hardworking team.
This is a primary role to lead our community engagement/empowerment activities based on an asset based community development model (ABCD) across the city and coordinate our volunteers. This will include establishing strong and robust relationships with a diverse range of communities and stakeholders across the city with a strong focus on hard to reach groups and help us to establish a network of individuals who you will help develop as volunteer restorative champions. The successful candidate will identify and coordinate a tailored package of community based workshops based on identified need to enable citizens to feel empowered, have skills and knowledge to resolve potential conflict and help create stable and positive community environments.
The postholder will have experience of community engagement activiies and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to ensure that we continue to develop and provide a professional and quality service.
