During the past ten years ACH has changed from a small-scale housing provider, located in inner-city Bristol, to a leading provider of resettlement and integration services for refugee and newly arrived communities in the UK. Our vision is for all refugees coming to the UK to be successfully integrated into our society.
Our Job Club is a long standing service we have offered to the wider community. This drop-in service provides assistance with job searches, applications, CV's and anything else that can support with the journey into work. It’s a welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds come for education and employment support. The service is very well attended by both our tenants, learners and members of the community.
We are looking for Job club mentors to build strong one-to-one relationships with people who use the service. Mentors will support their mentees to look and apply for work, get to know the local area and gain confidence with their job search and career aspirations. As a Job Club Mentor you will be working alongside the Job Club Manager, a Career Adviser and fellow Volunteers to provide support to our service users.
