We are looking for volunteer * Warehouse Sorters * to come and join our team :)
At Aid Box Community's ‘Free Shop’ in Bristol, we make a difference to the daily lives of refugees and asylum seekers by providing free essential living items, along with a safe and welcoming space.
This volunteer role provides an opportunity for you to help us sort donations that we receive, to ensure that our service users receive good quality, good condition, clean items.
4 ½ hours per week on one of the following days:
Tuesdays 10.45 – 3.15pm
Wednesdays 10.45 – 3.15pm
*6 Months Commitment necessary*
Checking the quality of aid donations and sorting them as they arrive at the ABC hub
Distributing items to the relevant place
Maintaining area as a safe and usable space
Tip runs are necessary at times, so a full driving license would be desirable, but not essential.
At times when the warehouse sorting is minimal, you would assist in other areas of hub where appropriate.
You will work with the support and direction of the Aid Team Coordinator.

Provide full induction training before you commence the role
Driving license and own transport desirable but not essential
