We are looking for volunteer Clothes Sorters to come and join our team :)
At Aid Box Community's ‘Free Shop’ in Bristol, we make a difference to the daily lives of refugees and asylum seekers by providing free essential living items, along with a safe and welcoming space.
This volunteer role provides an opportunity for you to help us sort through the clothes donations that we receive, to ensure that our service users receive good quality, good condition, clean items.
4 ½ hours per week on one of the following days:
Tuesdays 10.45 – 3.15pm
Wednesdays 10.45 – 3.15pm
Thursdays 10.45 – 3.15pm

Washing and drying clothes when necessary.
Keep the shelves and boxes tidy and looking lovely!
Ensure donations and boxes are not obstructing pathways.
At times when there are no clothing donations to sort you would pitch in to assist in other areas of hub where appropriate.

We’d like you to:
Be flexible and have a willingness to get stuck in
Enjoy being part of a small team
Be a positive, committed and enthusiastic team player
Have good organisational and communication skills
Be passionate about supporting refugees and asylum seekers
Provide full induction training before you commence the role.

We will then get in touch with you.
