JumpStart makes exercise and healthy eating more accessible to communities who need it the most in Bristol, removing the barriers to healthy living that are specific to
Once a week groups of kids get fit for an hour after school on the grass by their flats. Our games and challenges help them to develop physical and mental fitness, learning how to live healthy lives in fun and engaging ways. 
We currently have projects running in several locations across the city and we'd LOVE you to help be a pair of listening ears and helping hands for the children.

Help to plan the sessions
Help to run the sessions
Nurture relationships with the children and families we support during the session
Help families to complete registration paperwork

Working hours/days/frequency:
Each project runs for 1 hour per week in each location. I text you with volunteering opportunities each week and you are free to commit regularly, or come as and when you can. We can fit around you!

Required skills:
You don't have to be a fitness ninja, but a reasonable level of fitness would be preferable
An interest in fitness and nutrition
Some great ideas for games and challenges!

Experience of working with or looking after primary/early secondary aged children would be a big advantage
Whilst the children in our care are always within the group, a full and clean DBS check is essential
