We are looking for a Co-ordinators to help run our literacy project in South and Central areas of Bristol.

Read Easy Bristol is part of a nationwide charity (https://readeasy.org.uk/) which helps adults learn to read. Adults may have difficulty reading for a variety of reasons, and many have had bad experiences at school or in classes. We offer flexible, one to one support, with volunteer coaches who use text books and methods specially developed for this group of people. Help us provide what can be life changing support for people disadvantaged because they struggle to read.

The co-ordinator will help recruit new volunteer reading coaches and match them to readers, support the volunteers and be responsible for record keeping. We need someone with excellent people skills, good organisational and IT skills, a real interest in helping people who struggle to read and an average of 6 hours or more a week to spare.  We pride ourselves on being an active and supportive management team who work closely with our coordinators.
