The Branch Treasurer will be responsible for monitoring and safe-keeping of the funds of the branch.
Duties of Branch Treasurer can include:
· Receive fees and other monies, disbursing as authorised
· Maintaining books and accounts in accordance with rules
· Present financial statements and compile accounts
The Treasurer does not have to be an accountant to perform this role. However, you must be confident with Maths and Accounting and comfortable handling cash.
This role involves a regular commitment to attend branch meetings and to update all members.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with RAFA policy.
Ongoing support will be provided by the Branch Chair.
