Be part of the Community Fridge Network which is growing in Bristol. Community Fridges are a place where food businesses can give their surplus food and anyone can take the food home. The fridge is open to everyone, promoting a food sharing economy of recipes, tips on reducing food waste and healthy eating.

We are looking for volunteers to help pick up surplus food from food businesses and deliver it to Community Fridges, weigh and log the food, plus, check that the fridges are clean and look inviting.

A car may be needed depending on where the food is. Full training, including a food hygiene level one certificate, plus, expenses are paid. A minimum of one collection per week (around one hour) is required, or more if it suits you.
