Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. Women’s Aid are recruiting for Sessional Staff, to work on the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline, based in Bristol
We are looking for women to contribute to the delivery of a high quality 24 Hour Helpline, providing support and information to women and children who are living with or fleeing domestic violence, their friends, family members, colleagues or professionals working on their behalf, by telephone, e mail and other forms of communication.
National Domestic Violence Helpline training will be provided. Training will take place throughout May covering some evenings and weekends. Listening-in sessions (minimum of 2 hours per week) will also be required throughout the training period. These will be held either during the day or evening.
Salary: £13.31 per hour
Closing date: 9 a.m. Monday 29th April
Interviews: 8th and 9th May, Bristol
Hours: As required, including evenings and weekends
