Wild Goose Drop-in Centre Assistant

Crisis Centre Ministries
From £10 per hour
Contract Type:
Part Time
Details of Role:

The Wild Goose saved my life by feeding me when I had nothing.

Our Wild Goose Drop-in Centre has an immediate need for an Assistant to join its staff team on a permanent basis.

In order for the drop-in to run effectively we need someone who is able to be flexible in the role, which will include supporting our engagement with service users as well as helping with food preparation and other tasks in the kitchen.

The Wild Goose Drop-in Centre is the longest standing project of Crisis Centre Ministries. Through it we serve a wide cross-section of Bristol’s homeless community and those in temporary/supported accommodation.

Alongside the provision of food we seek to engage with our service users and support them out of homelessness. We accept each person who comes, before we ask anything.

The Wild Goose Assistant reports to Deputy Manager for Engagement in the Wild Goose drop-in.

  • Salary: Ministry Support scale, from £10 per hour.
  • Hours: part-time over 5 days; up to 32.5 hours per week.
