Details of Role: 

Milestones Trust is a health and social care charity which supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and people living with dementia.  The services are provided through a network of residential and nursing care homes and community services throughout the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas.

We are looking for a volunteer who can provide administrative support to the Head of Quality and Compliance. The role will include a range of administrative tasks such as;

  • Populate trust data into a new electronic system
  • Manage the pilot and launch of a new system
  • Monitor existing quality checking of services
  • Compile monitoring data of the trust’s services

We are looking for someone with administrative experience, IT competency and the ability to learn new IT systems.

You will receive induction training and the manager will introduce you to current systems, with staff on hand to support you in the role. This is a great opportunity to develop project management, systems development and data analysis skills, all of which are highly desirable and transferable skills.  You will also gain an insight into the Operational function of a social care charity in Bristol.

We can reimburse out of pocket/travel expenses by arrangement. The hours of the role are flexible, but we envisage one morning or afternoon per week as a minimum. There is scope to volunteer for more hours if you can offer more. The role is based at The Milestones Trust head office, on Staple Hill, in Fishponds.
