Bristol Autism Project Team Leaders

Contract Type:
Part Time
14 hours p/w
Contract Details:
Fixed initially until March 2020, with possible extension depending on tendering later this year
Details of Role:

We are looking for two qualified Team Leaders to coordinate and deliver the Bristol Autism Project, which involves organising a fun, safe, accessible programme for children aged 5-18 with autism and their families across multiple venues in Bristol and South Glos during every school holiday July 2019-March 2020.

These two people will be experienced and efficient in leading children’s activities, liaising with families and colleagues, and supervising a staff team. It is expected they will hold a Level 3+ qualification in a relevant field of work (teaching, play work, health & social care, etc)

Hours would be 14 hours p/week, to include delivery through all school holidays (annual leave should be taken during term-time or non-working days). It is expected that the two Team Leaders would work flexibly to preferably have some time overlapping with each other and our admin assistant, but otherwise hours can be flexible to suit covering 2-4 days each week.

These posts are fixed until March 2020. We wish to continue with the project beyond 2020 but this will be subject to a council tendering process later this year. To apply please see the job description / person specification below or on our website and return a completed application form to us by 2nd June.

Interviews will take place on Monday 10th June.

If you wish to see the project 'in action' this half-term and have chance to find out more, we have 2 drop-in opportunities for you to do this, but these must be booked in advance. These are available Tuesday 28th May in Horfield 12-2pm or Thursday 30th May in Whitchurch 4.30-6.30pm. (Venue to be confirmed when you book with Debbie at email/phone number below)
