Introduction

Our clients provide feedback and evaluation of our services. In order to improve our services to meet clients’ needs and to measure our effectiveness we need to ensure the data is accurately entered and coded.

Why we need you?

Our services have grown and diversified and we have more and more data that needs to be managed effectively.

What will I be doing?

  • Data input, qualitative and quantitative
  • Scope to extend this role to apply research skills using coding on the qualitative responses. This involves reading clients statements and using a coding system to categorise them.

What skills will I need?

  • Basic excel spreadsheet knowledge
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Methodical and accurate
  • Good English language skills for reading and understanding clients writing.
  • Understanding of the issues affecting people with cancer would help with coding aspect of the role.
  • Reliable
  • Happy doing repetitive tasks

How much time do I need to commit?

Half a day a week, ideally one day a week. We can be flexible on days. This is an ongoing role.

What training and support can I expect?

You will be given an induction to the Charity and training and support from the members of the Research and Information team.
