Bristol Reggae Orchestra (CIO) is a globally unique ensemble and has been an established part of the Bristol cultural scene for the last 10 years playing to large audiences in St George’s, Colston Hall, Harbourside Festival and St Paul’s Carnival.
We are planning the next stage in our development with a wish to enhance the membership and take the show on the road around Bristol and more widely.
We are seeking an able administrator with knowledge of the music industry to help us achieve our aims. Skills in web-based and digital technology will be essential and skills in bid-writing will be particularly welcome. The role supports the volunteer members and includes point-of-contact, performance planning, web-site and e-comms monitoring and general admin.
We anticipate up to 4 hours per week in the role to be worked flexibly.
The post is initially offered on a volunteer basis but we hope to make it a paid position subject to receipt of grant income (applied for). Interviews will be in central Bristol in September.
