Could you spare some time to help Anorexia & Bulimia Care (ABC) support those affected by eating disorders? We’re currently looking for volunteers for our Support Hub in central Bath.
The Support Hub provides emotional support and practical guidance for anyone affected by eating disorders; those struggling personally, and parents, families or friends.
As a volunteer, you would work alongside our existing Hub team and gain first-hand experience of supporting people with eating disorders, and their families. Our volunteers also play a vital role in helping us to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
We ask for a minimum commitment of one day per month, on a Thursday from 9.30am to 5pm. Find out more about the role in the attached job description.
ABC is a national UK eating disorders organisation with over 30 years of experience. In addition to the Hub, our support team offers guidance and information via telephone and email helplines and our befriending service links those in recovery with those who have recovered. Volunteers are very important to our work; without them we would be unable to provide the services and support so many people need.
To apply, please email email@example.com and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you feel you’d suitable for this role. Please put “Support Hub Volunteer” in the subject line.
