Are you passionate about helping young children in vulnerable families thrive?
Do you believe in the power of the local community coming together to make a difference?
Baby Bank Network in Bristol is looking for a part-time warehouse manager to head up the work of the Baby Bank Network warehouse, making sure it runs smoothly so we get pre-loved baby essentials to those in need. You’ll join our existing member of staff and be responsible for managing our team of warehouse volunteers and the day to day operations in the warehouse. Full details of the role can be found in the job description and person specification below.
Baby Bank Network was established in 2015 in Bristol by a group of volunteer mums with the aim of working to relieve poverty in families with young children by redistributing pre-loved baby and children items to families in need across Bristol. Working with local referral partners (health visitors, social workers, family-nurse partnership practitioners and other statutory and voluntary agencies) who apply for this help on the family’s behalf, items are donated by the local community, sorted, bundled and packed into orders by our volunteer team and then collected by or delivered to the referral partner to pass to the family. Since our first referral in 2015, we have supported over 3200 families across Bristol and have redistributed over 12,000 items.
If you are interested in the role, please read the job description and person specification and complete the application form and send it via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
Interviews for the post will take place on Thursday 13th February.
