Organisation background

The Afghanistan & Central Asian Association (ACAA) is a successful frontline Afghan charity set up in 2001 to promote British values and support the integration of disadvantaged and vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers and new arrivals into mainstream British society through the provision of a diverse range of holistic services. Our services include ESOL classes, supplementary school, mentoring, internships and volunteer placements, free community advice and support, women's support groups, social and cultural events, and driving theory classes for women.

An opportunity for someone with a law background/ studying law/ a law graduate to gain experience in working within a community advice clinic, offering support and advocacy to refugees and asylum seekers on immigration, family and housing matters. A chance to develop communication skills, build confidence in offering advice and guidance, and gain valuable insight into the logistics of an active charity and the NGO sector.
