We are recruiting for an exciting new role at OTR! The Engagement Link Worker (CAMHS) aims to bridge the gap between CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services), OTR and other voluntary sector services across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. You will be part of OTR’s Membership Team, working closely with CAMHS to empower young people to navigate the right mental health support for them.
Your role will be vital in developing the partnership between CAMHS and OTR and creating a seamless offer for young people. You will be upholding the values that guide OTR’s work, being part of changing the story and expectations of young people, professionals and carers about when, and how young people can access services.
You will have outstanding relationship building skills in order to effectively develop partnerships with a range of professionals and empowering relationships with young people. You will have a knowledge of Children and Young People’s Services across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, along with a solid understanding of the barriers that young people and their carers experience when accessing mental health support.
Most importantly you will be committed to ensuring young people are fully aware of their options enabling them to make choices leading to timely and appropriate support.
