Now more than ever our Dialogue Team – The Care Forum’s insight and engagement service for the West of England – is needed to develop insights and conduct research to support the regional VCSE sector. We’re working hard to build an evidence base to demonstrate the regional sector’s importance in supporting public health, and we’re looking to expand our team to support this work.
What are we looking for?
Local: People with a connection to the South West.
Passion: People who are passionate about health and social care, who want diverse communities to be heard, and who want to tackle regional health inequalities.
Experience: People with demonstrable experience in research wanting to build skills and apply their knowledge in a professional setting. You will be a Social Sciences Postgraduate Student with experience in research design and methodology, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and report writing.
The Role - Specialist Volunteer VCSE Researcher
Your Role: Your role will involve supporting our insight and engagement team (Dialogue) across a range of research functions including stakeholder engagement, research tool design and delivery, research promotions and communications, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and report writing.
Projects & Environment: You will be tasked with the development and delivery of a specific piece of research that you will lead, supported by the Dialogue team and manager. We work in a busy environment and so additionally, you may be asked to support on other pieces of research work as and when the need arises.
Time Commitment: 1-2 days per week over 3 – 4 months. This is negotiable depending on your capacity.
