We are seeking to recruit an experienced, conscientious and enthusiastic full time Senior Practitioner for our Central Community Recovery Drug & Alcohol Service in Bristol. You will provide essential support to the Hub Manager and have significant line management responsibilities. You will support the team to meet service delivery targets, be confident in communicating data, manage caseloads and competently manage safeguarding concerns alongside the Hub Manager ensuring the team deliver a safe, caring and effective service.

Experience of line managing people is essential, as is a deep understanding of substance misuse and alcohol. It is a challenging role requiring leadership skills whilst also undertaking some client work. You will be required to work in group settings and on a one to one basis, with staff and clients. It is essential that you have motivational skills in order to inspire team members and encourage service users.

You will be expected to support staff with assessments, risk assessments, support plans and reviews and coordinating the client’s care with other agencies, as required.
