Know Your Rights is a self-advocacy project that empowers people with learning disabilities and autism to speak up and make a positive difference to their lives and the lives of other people. Know Your Rights is supported by four volunteers, all of whom have a lived experience of living with a Learning Disability and/or Autism.The aim of the project is to create a strong community of people with learning disabilities in South Gloucestershire who know how to speak up about things that aren’t going well for them and if they don’t know how to speak up, they know where to go for help.
