Our Supported Housing service provides low and medium tenancy related support to people with a range of complex needs including homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, re-offending and mental health issues, who require support to progress towards more independent living.


The service operates a rota to provide extended support beyond standard hrs of 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, and requires staff to provide cover between 18:00 and 20:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday.


You will be responsible for supporting a caseload of clients to develop their own support plans and assisting them to meet their own identified goals and aims and ensuring they are able to work safely with your service and other agencies in the community for the benefit of their recovery and progression.


You will have a minimum of one years experience of working with people with complex needs in the social housing field. Experience and understanding of working with people with multiple needs, homelessness, mental health or drug/alcohol dependency is essential. Just as important is your ability to work as part of a team with your support and housing colleagues


We work in a recovery focused psychologically informed way (PIE) and you will receive comprehensive training, regular supervision and be part of team reflective practice.


A full driving license and access to transport is essential as the post involves travel around the Bristol area.
