Events and Training Coordinator (Maternity cover)

Contract Type:
Full Time
37 hours per week
Details of Role:

At Voscur, we are very proud of our role in supporting and developing voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations. A key aspect of our service is to provide skills, knowledge and tools to help organisations run more effectively through learning opportunities and tailored consultancy.

Currently our learning and development service includes:

  • General learning programmes on a comprehensive range of professional and organisational development topics, blending online and face-to-face formats.
  • In-house programmes, tailored to the specific requirements of different teams.
  • Start-up support for community groups and social enterprises.
  • Bespoke facilitation and specialist consultancy.
  • Collaborative learning through peer networks and special interest groups.
  • Conferences focused on funding, strategic influencing and governance.
  • Briefings and information events about a range of topics and opportunities.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Events and Training Coordinator to support our evolving learning programme, covering maternity leave.

In this role, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of a comprehensive learning and events programme, supporting the Learning and Skills Programme Manager. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining relationships with speakers, trainers, associates, facilitators and sponsors, all working to provide a wide-ranging programme for Bristol's VCSE sector.

We are looking for a quick learner, with excellent project management and interpersonal skills. This is a varied role, which will suit someone who has great initiative and is willing to work flexibly and independently, where needed.

This is a full-time role (37 hrs per week), based primarily in our office in central Bristol, although currently home-based due to Covid19 restrictions.
