The Big Jubilee Lunch

Bristol Cathedral and partners are delighted to announce a Big Jubilee Lunch on College Green on Sunday 5 June to celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

This full day free event is suitable for all ages and includes live music (curated by St George’s Bristol), food, and family-friendly games and activities, all on College Green. Bristol based live performance highlights include:

  • Lady Nade
  • Phil King
  • Freddie Lewis
  • City of Bristol Brass Band
  • Kala Chng
  • Kitty Lewis
  • Samantha Lindo

Local charities and good causes will be running activities throughout the day, including:

  • Build a royal paper flotilla with Bristol Cathedral
  • Make your own crown with Bristol Libraries

As a Big Lunch event we want to play our part in ending food poverty in the city and so will be asking for donations for local food charities.

A full timetable of events throughout the day will be released nearer to the event.

“The Big Lunch has been bringing neighbours and communities together to share friendship, food and fun on the first weekend in June for well over a decade.
