Bristol City Council is looking for young volunteers to help develop youth services for Bristol!. Young volunteers will work with Bristol City Council staff to help consult on and co-develop youth services for Bristol. They will also help to judge the suitability of organisations who wish to apply for funding to deliver these services. The role is open to young people aged 11 – 19 (up to 25 if you have Learning Difficulties and Disabilities) who live in Bristol. It will be for approximately one year (starting in November 2016). Young volunteers will be required to attend regular sessions but Bristol City Council will be flexible to accommodate their other commitments. It will be an interesting opportunity to have a direct say in how services for young people are run in Bristol! In return for volunteering, there will be training, travel expenses, £120 of reward vouchers for completing agreed hours and accreditation.
