Come and be part of the first Make Sundays Special and get some events experience on the 23 June.

City centre streets are being closed and people of Bristol are encouraged to come out and enjoy car-free streets, with street performance, cafes, music, workshops and games. It's going to be a fantastic fun-filled day and we want you to be involved!

We are looking for volunteers to help out and would love to hear from you. There will be lots of things to do, including helping with decorating the streets, working with walkabout artists, musicians, sports teams or choirs. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds so previous experience isn't necessary.

The launch event is on the 23 June and we are looking for people to help from 9-1.30 and 1.30-6. We are working with Bristol Green Week's Electric Sunday and Park Street Playground on the launch day (23 June) so there are events right across the city centre from Castle Park to Park Street so there is a lot to get involved with.

The next Make Sundays Special are on the 21 July, 18 Aug, 29 Sept and 20 Oct so if you're keen on volunteering at those and know you're available - let us know. Please fill in the attached form and send it to shilpa.pius@bristol.gov.uk by 31st May and we will get back to you to confirm a place.

There are opportunities to work with Big Green Week on all of their events in the week before too. Interested parties please contact Claire on claire@biggreenweek.com
