A series of consultation activities to inform the design of improvements to St Agnes Park and St Paul's Adventure Playground. The project will also consider the design of the pedestrianised part of Thomas Street which lies between the two sites. The project is presently using a survey and community events to gather information on how people use the facilities, how satisfied they are with them and what ideas they have for their improvement. In January 2009 the project will consult on three different sketch plans. In April 2009 a single plan based on results of community consultation will be finalised and works will commence in September.

The Safer Bristol Partnership has developed Bristol's Joined Up Street Sex Work Strategy 2008-2011. Bristol's strategy takes a partnership approach to addressing the harms caused by street sex work. This strategy addresses the four key themes of The Home Office's Coordinated Prostitution Strategy: Prevention, Routes Out, Tackling Demand and Ensuring Justice. The consultation will invite views from interested parties and stakeholders who are concerned about the street sex market in Bristol.
