Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
Got a question that your organisation are struggling to find an answer to? Need new skills, funding or support? We offer various services designed to help your organisation work more effectively and have a bigger impact for local people.
We have a variety of support options available, from one-to-one advice sessions to more bespoke consultancy work. Some of our services are free of charge (depending on the size and type of your organisation) and other paid-for options are available. Discounts are also available for Voscur Members.

The Community Elevator is our free offer to the sector, primarily focussed on organisations and groups from communities that experience the greatest disadvantage. We have an experienced team available to provide support, advice and guidance for local organisations and groups. Using our expertise, we want to help your organisation or group make a bigger impact for local people.
If you are a local VCSE sector organisation or group, as well as a Voscur member, you will be able to receive at least 45 minutes of free support and advice. In addition to this, depending on the size of, type and area served by your organisation, you may be eligible for a variety of further free advice, support, training and consultancy.

Voscur's VCSE Academy is a new platform for charities, community groups and social enterprises to learn, share and develop together.
We have 25 years of experience delivering training, support and development to a variety of clients, from community groups and charities to health professionals. As a result, we have a knowledgeable team of staff and associates with the right skills and experience to deliver each workshop, webinar, toolkit, peer network, briefing, masterclass or course.
Your organisation or group may also be eligible for to sign up to training for free through Voscur’s Community Elevator mentioned above. Alternatively, you can see what courses are currently available on the VCSE Academy site here.
We can create a course or session just for your team, covering the specific topics you want to know about, in the right amount of detail. Even if you don’t have all the details yet, all you need to do is get in touch with us with some basic information and we can start a conversation around what we might be able to do for your organisation.

The Local Access Programme first launched in 2021 and offers enterprise development services, small grants and up to £1m of social investment – aiming to remove the barriers to alternative forms of funding and support that social enterprises can experience.
