We the undersigned call on councillors to support the existed varied shop and pub provision in Knowle and oppose any proposals to turn The Friendship Pub into a Tesco Express.

We call on Bristol City Council to enable communities to shape how land and buildings are used in their neighbourhoods by extending the deadline of Bristol's land use consultation to 19 February 2009 and to ensure all future consultations allow for communities to meaningfully feed into important decision-making processes like this. Unless this happens submissions will be dominated by private developers and businesses who have the financial capacity to deliver in this short time period.

We, the undersigned, petition Bristol City Council to support the proposed Ashton Vale stadium. We wish to see a world class sports facility which would attract major sporting events (e.g. FIFA World Cup) to the city.

Sign up to support the plans to build a cycle path along the railway line, from Laurence Hill, through Easton and Montpelier to Redland.

The Petitioner....asks Bristol City Council to require provision for a major multimodal transport hub as part of the 'Plot 6' development site at Temple Meads, before the opportunity is lost and flats and offices are built alongside the proposed new ticket hall.

We, the undersigned, petition Bristol City Council to abandon any plans to sell off the playing fields on Newquay Rd behind Ilminster School, taking them out of the education remit and Primary School Review process completely, recognizing that they are a valued, fully accessible public open space well used over many years, particularly for football and considering it as fully covered by the council’s Parks and Green Spaces Strategy.

The Petitioner....requests that there is a provision of community facilities in Manor Farm, Horfield as there is a high proportion of elderly and disabled people along with young mums who would welcome a centre on the estate where they can meet and have a chat or learn something new.

We, the undersigned, call upon Bristol City Council and Bristol's MPs to lobby major stakeholders in the BBC and the Government to reverse plans to move the production of 'Casualty' out of the city.

The Petitioner requests that Bristol City Council conducts, as a matter of urgency, a parking review of the residential roads around Southmead Hospital.

We, the undersigned, petition Bristol City Council to protect Ashton Vale Fields through compulsory purchase and to designate the area a wildlife reserve. We wish to see this land saved from further damage and developement to preserve Ashton Vales natural heritage.

The petitioners request that Bristol City Council supports an ultra light tram Rapid Transit system. We oppose the current bus Rapid Transit proposal, the South Bristol Ring Road and the urban extensions, which they both are designed to serve.

The petitioner asks Bristol City Council to ensure that Section 106 money from the Temple Quarter development be spent on upgrading pedestrian and cycle routes between Three Lamps Junction, Totterdown, and Temple Meads.

The petitioners request that Bristol City Council rules out any closure or merger of primary schools in Shirehampton.
