Mapping community energy projects in Bristol

There are still a couple of days left to complete this survey for a chance to win one of ten prizes of £100 for your group! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BristolCommunityEnergy

Bristol City Council is collecting information about the range of community groups across Bristol that are involved in any kind of energy project – for example, if you’re thinking as a group about ways to save energy and reduce fuel bills, put up solar panels or other renewable energy schemes, or raise awareness about climate change.

This is quite an in depth survey aimed at collecting better information to help the Council to better support the community energy sector. We are mapping existing activity in Bristol, identifying needs, and looking at the relationships between the community sector and other sustainable energy activities in the city (including how these can link with government and council plans for energy generation and carbon reduction).

All groups completing the questionnaire before the 14th June will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten prizes of £100 to add to group funds.

All the responses will be collected and will help shape an Action Plan to support the community sector.
