Bristol Green Capital 2015 has commissioned Volunteer Bristol @ Voscur to create and deliver a series of training workshops to support voluntary and community projects working to meet the aims of the Green Capital initiative.

Volunteer Bristol @ Voscur has unrivalled experience and understanding of the issues voluntary and community organisations face when finding, supporting and managing people. Training Manager, Ruth Pitter explains:

“We have used our knowledge of how small community projects work, to create a unique support package. Thanks to funding provided by Green Capital 2015, we can provide high quality training sessions for only £10 per delegate, which is great news for voluntary organisations!”

Volunteer Bristol @ Voscur will be offering a programme of four practical training workshops, delivered in small groups and addressing the real life issues that projects will be facing, including finding and managing volunteers, keeping people safe and other essential information.  These workshops will be delivered several times during the spring and summer of 2015 and delegates may sign up for the whole programme or dip into those workshops which are most relevant to their current needs.

Further details of course dates and venues will be published in the new year. For more information or to make an advance reservation please contact Sian Bunn, Volunteer Development Manager on 0117 989 7733 or manager@volunteerbristol.org.uk.
