Arnos Vale is a special place that people love to visit, some say it casts a spell. We are an uplifting site of culture, history, nature, wellbeing, events and memories. More than 300,000 people are buried or remembered here, from much-loved members of ordinary Bristol families to those who changed our world or sacrificed their lives in war. Community is at our heart. We are a 45-acre green space saved by the Bristol community. This is an exciting role and you will work with the whole team to enrich our future. For you, it’s the chance to help us build something amazing. We’re looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. You’ll lead on the development and delivery of our fundraising strategy and identify opportunities and new ways of working. You’ll have the passion and skills to help us raise valuable funds.

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to take ownership, maintaining a dialogue with our supporters. People are central to Arnos Vale, our visitors, volunteers and neighbours are what makes us special.

No two days will be the same. As a charity we have a range of visitors on site. With two indoor venues, one outdoor and 45 acres of nature reserve, there are a range of challenges and opportunities. We’re a small team, so we all help each other out.
