There are a number of places where statistical data from both local and national and national sources can be found. By clicking on the following links you can view information from a range of sources that is on the Voscur website and information on external websites.

  • Bristol City Council's Statistic and Census information pages contain a wide range of information about the City of Bristol, its population and geography. Much of this information is used by the Council as evidence on which to base its plans and policies. On the page you will also find new 2010 Neighbourhood Partnership profiles. These include information for the individual wards within the NP areas. See www.bristol.gov.uk/statistics
  • Bristol data profiles, http://profiles.bristol.gov.uk/  provides numerous sources of information and profiles brought together onto one page as a means of sharing intelligence, through maps, atlases and dynamic reports about life in Bristol and its neighbourhoods.
  • The latest Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Instant Atlas with over 70 indicators relating to life in Bristol many with time series data, can be found on Bristol data profiles and is also available here. Instant Atlas is a highly-interactive online reporting solution that combine statistics and map data to improve data visualisation, enhance communication, and engage people in more informed decision making.
  • In October 2009 the Office for National Statistics published the '2008 Small Area Population Estimates for wards and Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs)'. The ward level estimates are available by five year age band and gender, the LSOA estimates are available by broad age band and gender.
