Bristol Pride festival runs on the power of volunteers – without your invaluable support, we simply couldn’t do it.
Pride is a protest! We use our political voice to amplify, maintain and further LGBT+ human rights in Bristol and beyond. We welcome everyone who wants to celebrate, champion and progress LGBT+ human rights to join us. Bristol Pride Parade relies on volunteers to ensure the successful running of the parade and to ensure the safety of those who attend.
We are looking for 6 volunteers who can support our parade coordination team to keep the parade together and moving.
You’ll be working as a team to flag any gaps and issues, and ensuring people leave Castle Park in a timely way. You’ll need to be confident and have good communication skills for this role. Ideally, you’ll have volunteered with the parade before and would like to get more involved.
You'll need to arrive at 9.45am for a briefing and to get into positions. The Parade leaves at 10.45am taking about 1.5 hours to complete.
What we offer:
We'd love to hear from QTIPOC people and those with experience of working at large scale events and/or social & community spaces.
