What change do you want to see? Get started with 'Theory of Change'

In this 3-hour session we will be looking at ‘bigger picture thinking’ – how you can make the impact you want to and how you can use the Theory of Change model to map this out and keep your organisation on track.

You may have heard of Theory of Change before but have no idea where to start with it, or perhaps you have no idea what that term even means but know you want to make a change for the people you work with? Maybe you have been asked about impact by a funder?

This workshop is for you, if you want to take some time out from your social enterprise to think about the change you want to see happen, what you might need to measure to see if you are having an impact and how you can lay that out in one diagram or to start-over a tried and tested impact measurement model for something more dynamic and accessible. This is a crash course, a place to start and will use real life examples with hands on activities to get you building your own Theory of Change straight away.

Chloe Tingle ran her own not-for-profit social enterprise no more taboo for five years, learning through trial and error what works and what doesn't work when growing an enterprise from an idea to a small, well known brand doing business for good. She has worked with School for Social Entrepreneurs facilitating workshops and supporting over 150 students to grow their ideas. She now specialises in 'problem solving' consultancy supporting leaders and doers running organisations established to make the world a better place, she particularly enjoys working with those who face additional challenges due to social inequity.

Our other workshops include sustainability, finance essentials and social media scheduling Check out our other SBES workshops for 2023 here.
