To help celebrate #UKCharityWeek and the amazing work charity trustees do all year round, Voscur is excited to host GET INFORMED – Social Investment for Boards as it travels across the UK starting in Bristol.

GET INFORMED provides free practical support and guidance including mentoring for charity trustees to better understand the opportunities and risks of social investment.

This event is the perfect opportunity for trustees and CEOs to:

  • Get your organisation into the national conversation about charity impact and #makingadifference. (We’ll ask each trustee to write the one thing they want to tell the world about their charity on a board and share photos during the event.
  • Get informed about social investment options from other trustees who’ve already been supported to improve their future sustainability.
  • Get a mentor to help your board and management team explore the potential for your charity to secure social finance.
  • Get lunch and meet other local groups you could learn from and work with.

GET INFORMED is a joint initiative led by Big Society Capital in partnership with Reach Volunteering, CASS Business School, Trustees Unlimited, Association of Chairs, the Honorary Treasurers Forum and the Charity Commission. For more information, visit:
