Community Organising is the work of bringing people together to take action around their common concerns and overcome social justice. Community organisers reach out and listen, connect and motivate people to build their collective power.

Our 1-day training introduces you to the core foundations of community organising genuine, effective listening which sparks dialogue and explores motivations, an analysis of power in communities and how to build it, and an exploration of how to organise and motivate people to take action together around their common concerns.

This training is quality assured and certified by CERTA. You will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

By joining this training you will become part of the Bristol Social Action Hub network and unlock further training in listening, power, group process design and facilitation and other networking opportunities.

The Bristol Social Action Hub is powered by Barton Hill Settlement in collaboration with Community CoLab and funded by DCMS through Community Organisers Ltd.

Whilst this training if funded we are asking people to pay as they feel and any contributions will be reinvested into further training opportunities accessible to all.
