We are delighted to launch our free adult learning at the Greenway Centre.

INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING is starting soon and we have places remaining for this term but also taking bookings for our January term.

Our six week course offers you everything you need to know about working as a volunteer in the community. Be inspired and meet our existing volunteers and hear about their experiences. Learn about different types of voluntering opportunities and identify the right opportunities for you. 

You'll learn the basics of being a great volunteer, how to contribute to your community and how to have a voice and codesign community-led solutions. 

Completing this course will enable you to use your interests and energy to support others in the community and any further learning you would like to support your volunteering activities.

This course comes highly recommended and has been designed with our volunteers, trustees and commnity development worker Lucille.

When: Wednesday 19th October 2022 1pm - 3pm for 6 weeks.

Where: Greenway Centre, Doncaster Road, BS10 5PY

Cost: Free for ages 18+
