Join LIFEbeat for a free one-day online taster workshop to experience how to use your creativity and arts practice to improve the wellbeing of participants. This training will provide comprehensive transferable facilitation skills that can be used to run transformational arts-based workshops with groups of young people or adults. LIFEbeat's proven method shows you how to create safe, supportive spaces for participants to develop a sense of belonging and community and to find their authentic voices.

Learn to:

  • Plan and design a creative workshop
  • Build a creative group community and to develop a culture of trust and collaboration
  • Lead creative arts-based activities with groups in any setting
  • Facilitate group participants to explore and expand their creativity
  • Create a safe learning environment to facilitate self-expression, emotional connections with self and others

LIFEbeat, founded in 2009, has an 11-year track record of using creativity and arts-based practice to transform the lives of young people. We believe in the power of creativity to build healthy communities in schools and in wider contexts where people feel valued, seen and heard. LIFEbeat’s work is proven to build emotional literacy, social skills, self-esteem and resilience and to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the young people. We are currently expanding our creative community learning network in the Southwest.
