Learning and evaluation findings from the Bristol Ageing Better programme (2015-2020), and implications for the future.

About this Event

Bristol Ageing Better projects have all shown a commitment to ‘working with’ – and not ‘doing to’ - older people. This event explores the range of ways in which older people have been involved in decision-making: from commissioning and evaluation to setting up new community activities.

With the help of BAB Community Researchers, we host a debate on whether BAB shows how to do things differently in our post-covid city.

This is part of a series of three online events in which UWE Bristol will be sharing the findings from their evaluation of the Bristol Ageing Better programme:

8th October: Addressing loneliness and isolation amongst older people in Bristol

15th October: Older people as active citizens: changing the way Bristol works

22nd October: Age-friendly places: building upon and nurturing community assets

You do not need a camera or microphone in order to attend these online events. Joining details will be circulated a few days before the event to those who have registered for a free ticket via Eventbrite.

These events will be recorded and made available on the Bristol Ageing Better website afterwards.
