Racial Equity Funding: Applying to our COVID-19 Recovery Fund

Date: 7 September

Time: 2pm-3pm

Where: Zoom

If you are a small and local charity that exists to support members of Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic communities, then join us for a webinar on our new COVID Recovery Fund. We’ll be sharing the eligibility criteria for the funding, details of the grant programme, what we look for in the work we fund and the application process.

Our £7.5 million COVID Recovery Fund will offer around 150 charities a two-year unrestricted grant of £50,000. Alongside the grant charities will have a Development Partner to help them identify and act on any organisational challenges they may be facing. We are committing at least 25% of this Fund to charities led by members of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities. And to do this, we have created a new funding priority, Racial Equity, which we will explain during this webinar.

The webinar will be hosted by Peter Cunnison and Neil Shashoua, two of our Regional Managers. Peter and Neil will explain about the Racial Equity priority, provide you with information on the Fund and give you the chance to ask questions so that you have all the information you need to make a decision on applying for the Fund.
