We will cover:

  • How to start a business
  • Self-employed or Limited Company?
  • Tax return basics & HMRC
  • How to keep records for your business
  • Other FAQs – e.g. do I need to register for VAT?

If you are in South Bristol and looking for some answers to your financial questions, join us for this interactive session.

This workshop is one of our final series as part of the SBES programme, a partnership that includes the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Knowle West Media Centre, Princes Trust, and YTKO Ltd. It offers training and support, grants, and bursaries for new and existing businesses in South Bristol. The project is led by Bristol City Council and supported by the European Regional Development Fund, the West of England Combined Authority, and the UK Government.

Our other workshops include sustainability, theory of change masterclass and a 1 hour online workshop on social media scheduling.
