The SARSAS training sessions!

We our now offering our popular in-house training to individuals.

This month we are delivering a half day of in person training on ‘Responding to Disclosure’. This has been created for front line professionals who want to feel more confident when responding to a disclosure of sexual violence.

We will be exploring an evidence-based approach to working with disclosures and how to create a trauma informed practice, relevant legislation, tools for managing distress, information about signposting into specialist services.

By the end of the training you will:

- be confident in how to respond to disclosures of sexual violence

- have increased knowledge about how to deliver a trauma informed practice

- feel informed and empowered to act with best practice when you receive disclosures of sexual violence or harassment

- understand how to create safe spaces for all.

Refreshments and course resources will be provided. This training will involve discussing impactful and triggering subjects and may involve some moving around in the room.
