How will you ensure that clients are supported during heatwaves, cold snaps or floods? If extreme weather means you’re unable to meet the terms of a service contract, will you lose it to another provider? Climate change isn't just about crop failure and storms in other countries - it can mean disrupted services and unfulfilled contracts in Bristol. Using a combination of cutting-edge climate disadvantage maps and dynamic group exercises, this workshop will help your organisation understand which local people are at risk, and the challenges and opportunities of climate change for the voluntary sector.

It will be delivered by the Environment Agency and Voscur in partnership with strategic bodies investing in this area (Bristol's Health & Wellbeing Board, City Council and Clinical Commissioning Group) as part of Bristol Green Capital 2015. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a pioneering project and improve your resilience and protect business continuity. This builds on NCVO's previous work on vulnerable people and climate change.
