Voscur would like to invite local VCSE colleagues to help us to shape an exciting new VCSE Strategy and new Compact for Bristol. This event  will allow local people to come together, share knowledge and experiences, participate in structured discussions and generally inform the development of this exciting new Strategy and Compact.

Owned by the sector, co-designed and facilitated by Voscur, the development of a new strategy and Compact for Bristol’s VCSE sector will help us all focus on what we want the sector to be and how we want to work together and with others.

Owned by the sector, co-designed and facilitated by Voscur, the development of a new strategy for Bristol’s VCSE sector will help us all focus on what we want the sector to be and how we want to work together and with others. The aim of the strategy is to clearly demonstrate our sector’s impact, potential and ability to meet the challenges ahead – to help citizens and communities survive and thrive.

Bristol City Council has announced that the Local Area Targeted Youth Services tender is now live on Pro Contract. Those who wish to view the tender (and potentially apply), can access the portal here.

The tender will stay open until Monday 9th October 2017 at 12pm.

The Youth Sector Support Targeted Youth Services Tender will go live on 8th September 2017.

The Bristol Safeguarding Adults and Children Boards have launched a new joint website. This website will now act as the focal point for all safeguarding information relating to adults and children for both residents and professionals alike.
 
The site is split into two halves, one to represent the Bristol Safeguarding Children Board (BSCB) and the other to host information relating to the Bristol Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB).

Bristol City Council (BCC) has allocated £392,000 of the Bristol Impact Fund to tackle inequality and disadvantage in the city. The money will be spent over three years to further the empowerment and strengthen the voices of equalities communities.
