The National Lottery Community Fund has announced that round two of the £4 million Local Connections Fund has reopened for applications.

The Local Connections Fund provides grants of £300 - £2,500 to small, local organisations (with an annual income of £50,000 or less) that are working to reduce loneliness by helping people build connections across their communities. This can mean local areas, but also communities of faith or belief, and communities of interest: people with a shared interest or concern.

This funding is suitable for small constituted charities and community groups. Grants of £300-2,500 will be available, and a total of £2 million will be distributed. If successful, you must have completed your project and spent the grant by 30 November 2021.

Organisations that received funding in the first round of the Local Connections Fund will not be eligible for funding in the second round.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 6 August 2021.
