This recruitment is continuous - while we are accepting applications until end of March, we do have immediate openings. 

 

You will be working within a small team of Care Assistants as well as Support workers.

I have Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and am acutely sensitive to the modern world – debilitated by mobile phones, Wifi signals, other technology, electricity, chemicals and perfumes, which significantly limit access to public places, work and social life.

I am currently housebound with limited mobility.

I am warm and friendly, personable and I value real connection with the people that work with me. You are valued for your skills and input. I am earth loving, creative and spiritual. I’m looking for support workers who are warm-hearted, calm, emotionally aware, practical and nature loving, to support me to create a safe, gentle environment, deal with challenges, help me rest, heal and have a more fulfilling life.

 

Care Assistant Roles:

Role 1: 7 hours per week (1 x 7 hour shift)

Role 2: 14 hours per week (2 x 7 hour shifts)

 

Plus 1 hour per month for an online Team Meeting

Includes some weekend shifts on a rota.

 

£12.00 per hour

 

 

Support needed for:

- Food preparation and cooking

- Cleaning

- Laundry

- Shopping

- General household tasks

- Some messaging or phone calls on my behalf

 

Suit someone:

- Experienced in care work who is warm-hearted, calm and caring

- Able to adapt and respond to changing needs

With good communication, internet and phone skills

Physically fit

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Role is available for an immediate start.

 

Support Worker Roles

 

28 hours per week: (4 x 7 hour shifts – some of which includes doing admin/research from your own home)

 

OR Role can be shared by 2 people each doing:

14 hours per week: (2 x 7 hour shifts - some of which includes doing admin/research from your own home)

 

Plus an additional 1 hour per fortnight for an online Team Meeting.

 

Includes some weekend shifts on a rota.

 

£14.00 per hour.

 

Support needed for:

- Mental health (trauma aware)

- Physical care (cooking & other domestic tasks)

- Everyday living

- Communication

- Admin

- Planning & problem solving

- Support with the healing journey

 

Suit someone:

- Warm hearted, calm and caring

- Experienced in mental health/ care work

- Able to adapt and respond to changing needs

- With excellent communication, internet and phone skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Bank Care Assistant Roles:

 

7 hour shifts, weekdays and weekends, typically from 9-4pm with some flexibility around negotiating hours and start/finish times.

 

£11.00 per hour

 

 

Support needed for:

Food preparation and cooking

Cleaning

Laundry

Shopping

General household tasks

Some messaging or phone calls on my behalf

 

Suit someone:

Experienced in care work who is warm-hearted, calm and caring

Able to adapt and respond to changing needs

With good communication, internet and phone skills

Physically fit

Fluent in English(written and spoken)

 

Bank Support Worker Role:

 

7 hour shifts, weekdays and weekends, typically from 9-4pm with some flexibility around negotiating hours and start/finish times.

 

£13.00 per hour

Mental health (trauma aware)

Physical care (cooking and other domestic tasks)

For all roles you must be a non-smoker, non-vaper and non-perfume/aftershave user (due to employer's allergies) and ideally be a driver over 25 with a clean driver's licence.

2 references and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) required (paid for by employer).
