Volunteer for St Werburghs Community Centre at our Christmas Festive Friends event!

On Friday the 16th of December we will be hosting our annual Festive meal for the over 50s in our local community.

We will need help with setting up, serving food and drink, being available to chat and have fun with the attendees, and setting down. The shifts will operate as half days (4hrs each), starting at 9am and finishing around 5pm.

There is some free training in Mental Health and Wellbeing offered by CASS Bristol on a first-come-first-served basis for volunteers. Description below:

Mental health and wellbeing awareness training – 3 hours

This course will develop your understanding of mental health and wellbeing, the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, and how to respond to people experiencing poor mental wellbeing. It will also cover communication skills, self-help resources, and sources of support locally and nationally.
